Learn from our business and industry partners as they provide high school educators with a "front-row seat" to the trends, strategies and technologies currently defining the world of business and marketing.

Mr. Hellard launched a Middle School Business Pathway from ground zero. In less than 2 years, his classes were full with 120+ students and an CTSO with 100 active members. Mr. Hellard is here to talk about the good, bad, and ugly of Middle School. He is ready to help you LEVEL UP your program.

Dive into the question “Is Sports Betting Investing?”, get a hands‑on introduction to FLC 101 and teacher certification, and hear a timely financial literacy update from Kentucky Financial Empowerment Commission (KYFEC). Come ready to learn, exchange ideas, and leave with fresh, classroom‑ready insights.

This presentation provides an overview of trauma-informed care and its importance in supporting children, families, and communities. Participants will explore how trauma impacts brain development, behavior, learning, relationships, and emotional regulation while gaining a deeper understanding of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and the effects of toxic stress. The session emphasizes trauma-informed, healing-centered, and resilience-oriented approaches that support individuals not only in surviving adversity but also in thriving and reaching their full potential. Attendees will learn practical strategies for creating safe, supportive, and empowering environments while shifting the perspective from asking “What’s wrong with you?” to “What happened to you?” in order to foster empathy, connection, trust, and healing across educational, clinical, and community settings."
