The KATFCS State Board will meet to finalize committee reports for the business session and organize information to be disseminated throughout the conference.
This 6-hour course teaches how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of addiction and mental illness in youth. Participants will learn risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents ages 12-18. Learners will understand the importance of early intervention and will be certified first aiders upon completion of this session.
