The KATFCS State Board will meet to finalize committee reports for the business session and organize information to be disseminated throughout the conference.
This 6-hour course teaches how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of addiction and mental illness in youth. Participants will learn risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents ages 12-18. Learners will understand the importance of early intervention and will be certified first aiders upon completion of this session. CEUs for nursing and/or EILA certificates are awarded at the conclusion of the session.

This KATFCS Regional Officer Training session prepares officers to confidently serve their region through effective leadership, communication, and collaboration. Participants will strengthen their understanding of officer roles, explore strategies for supporting local chapters, and build skills needed to represent KATFCS with professionalism and purpose.
