Kentucky JROTC Workshop (Session 2)

Session 2 emphasizes implementation, innovation, and continuous improvement. Participants will engage in collaborative planning activities centered on program growth, community partnerships, cadet leadership development, and competitive team development. The session includes discussion of scholarship opportunities, post-secondary pathways, and instructor professional development. Attendees will leave with actionable plans, shared resources, and clear next steps to enhance program effectiveness at the school and district levels. EILA certificate is awarded at the conclusion of the session.

Kentucky JROTC For Administrators, Counselors and CTE Coordinators

This presentation provides a comprehensive update on Kentucky JROTC programs, with a focus on alignment to school improvement goals, student achievement, and Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways. Kentucky JROTC continues to support whole-student development by strengthening leadership, citizenship, accountability, and workforce readiness skills that directly complement academic and career preparation initiatives. For administrators and counselors, this update highlights program enrollment trends, graduation outcomes, attendance impact, scholarship opportunities, and post-secondary pathways, including college, military service, and civilian careers. For CTE coordinators, the presentation outlines how JROTC supports Kentucky's CTE framework through career exploration, employability skills development, industry-aligned competencies, and leadership certifications. Additionally, the presentation reviews program compliance, instructor qualifications, community partnerships, and measurable outcomes that demonstrate JROTC's value as both a leadership development program and a strategic contributor to school and district performance goals. Kentucky JROTC remains committed to preparing students to be responsible citizens and career-ready graduates while serving as a strong partner within Kentucky's educational and CTE systems. EILA certificate awarded at the conclusion of the session.
