Attend the Integrating Public Health Content into the Classroom session to connect with public health professionals from the Kentucky Department for Public Health, University of Louisville School of Public Health and Information Sciences and the University of Kentucky College of Public Health to learn about available resources to bring public health to your students. Participants will leave the session with public health materials to take back to their classrooms.
I play several different types of games in my medical terminology course. I know several teacher want to make medical terminology more engaging and I hope to do just that. I would like to show attendees several of the different games I play with my classes including: Spinny Wheel, Flipping Review, On a Roll, and Spoons. I have a high pass rate on my medical terminology final, so I know these games are effective and would love to share them with other instructors around the state.
