This presentation provides an update on Kentucky JROTC programs, highlighting recent achievements, growth, and upcoming initiatives across the state. Kentucky JROTC continues to develop student leadership, citizenship, character, and community service through structured training and extracurricular activities. Over the past year, Cadets have demonstrated excellence in academics, drill competitions, physical fitness, and service projects, representing their schools and communities with pride. The update also outlines improvements in instructor development, increased community partnerships, and expanded opportunities for Cadet advancement and scholarships. Additionally, we will review current enrollment trends, program goals for the upcoming year, and strategies to strengthen recruitment, retention, and overall program impact. Kentucky JROTC remains committed to shaping responsible, motivated young leaders who are prepared for success in college, careers, and service to their communities.
Session 1 focuses on specific program updates, compliance requirements, and strategic alignment with school, district and military service goals. Participants will review current Kentucky JROTC performance data, enrollment trends, and best practices for recruitment and retention. The session also covers curriculum alignment, leadership development standards, and integration with school improvement plans and CTE pathways. Attendees will collaborate on strategies to strengthen program visibility, stakeholder engagement, and measurable outcomes. EILA certificate awarded at the conclusion of the session.
